Noom’s menopause offer brings clinical hormone treatment into a business many readers associate with weight management. To evaluate it, keep three things on separate lines: the proposed medicine, access to a prescriber and the behavior-support program.

Our September 21, 2026 source check covered Noom’s official menopause overview, HRT transparency page and treatment-support instructions. This entry records public information, not personal treatment experience. We did not inspect pharmacy testing, verify an individual clinician or complete checkout.

The prescription line contains different options

Noom identifies FDA-approved transdermal estrogen patches and progesterone pills among its HRT options. It also describes a compounded body cream combining estradiol and estriol. Those choices should be evaluated individually: the regulatory status of a patch does not extend to a cream because both appear on one website.

For a proposed treatment, request the full product name, active ingredients, strength, route and dispensing pharmacy. Keep that information with the written care plan. It will make a later conversation with your usual clinician more precise than saying you have started Noom hormones.

What the cream’s quality claims establish

The company describes pharmacy standards and testing for compounded medicine. These are provider statements; this review does not independently certify them. FDA explains that compounded drugs do not receive its premarket approval or the corresponding evaluation of safety, effectiveness and quality.

Ask why an approved alternative would not meet the particular need being addressed. Our approval and compounding guide explains the questions without treating all bioidentical hormones as compounds. Neither a plant-derived ingredient nor a reassuring manufacturing description proves that a medicine carries less risk for an individual patient.

Weight language needs a separate reading

Noom’s menopause pages discuss weight and metabolic concerns alongside symptoms. The Menopause Society’s patient guidance is narrower: hormone therapy is not a direct weight-loss treatment. Marketing that connects several goals should not replace an explanation of the purpose of each prescription.

If weight medication is also under consideration, ask whether that involves another program and clinician. The HRT and GLP-1 care guide helps organize the two discussions. A shared account or familiar app is not evidence that every clinician can see every prescription.

The billing line remains plan-specific

We could not establish one current HRT enrollment and renewal price applicable to every Noom patient from the pages reviewed. Older launch figures and search snippets are not reliable substitutes for today’s written quote. Ask how much is payable now, how long that payment covers and what renews automatically.

Then identify whether medicine, clinical review, shipping, coaching and any existing subscription are included. If progesterone is prescribed alongside estrogen, check whether both are in the quoted amount. Record the cancellation deadline and what happens to an order already sent for dispensing. The care-plan cost guide helps separate these commitments.

Clinical support has its own route

Noom directs medical HRT questions to clinicians through the app, with other channels for care coordination and billing. That is useful operational information, but it does not establish a guaranteed clinical response time. Ask how a question is triaged and what to do if it cannot wait for routine messaging.

Confirm whether a phone or video discussion can be arranged if you struggle to explain a concern in writing. Also establish what happens when an examination, testing or referral is needed outside the service. A digital consultation does not eliminate those possible parts of care.

Check the handover and renewal process

Bring a current medication list and tell the assessing clinician about other prescribers, relevant history and any previous response to hormones. Ask for your next review date and the conditions for a refill. Do not assume an automatic payment automatically authorizes another prescription.

If you may transfer care later, find out how to obtain consultation notes and the medication record. Our moving-care checklist helps you prepare that handover without recommending an unsupervised treatment change. Continued access to medical information matters even after a consumer subscription ends.

Where this leaves the comparison

Noom is a documented menopause-care option to investigate when its clinical offer and support format match your preferences. Noom versus WeightWatchers compares another program with a weight-management background; Hers versus Noom focuses on the medication and messaging arrangement. We found no basis in the reviewed material for an independent clinical score or a promise about personal results.
