Record the offer you are actually buying
During our check, Wisp's live consultation page displayed a starting monthly figure of $33. Older indexed wording showed a $99 three-month offer. Although the arithmetic looks similar, it does not settle whether you pay monthly or upfront, how renewal works, or what cancellation requires.
Save the offer and payment schedule presented to you. Ask for the amount due at enrollment, the next charge date and any commitment attached to the quoted rate. A search snippet can help you find a service; it is a poor substitute for your own order terms.
The page describes consultation, follow-ups and monthly access to a care team. Confirm what that access allows: treatment questions, scheduled reviews, prescription changes and the response format. The care-plan comparison helps turn those broad terms into a useful checklist.
Add the pharmacy line separately
Medicines are not included in the consultation price. If a prescription is issued, the local pharmacy's charge becomes another part of the budget. Ask for the exact drug, quantity and expected refill interval before obtaining a quote.
Enter the confirmed amounts in the 90-day worksheet. If a figure is unknown, obtain it before treating the estimate as complete. Do not substitute the price of an unrelated Wisp shop product or assume a medication discount applies to every formulation.

Read the menu at the ingredient level
Wisp lists estradiol in several forms, including patches, gel and tablets. It also describes micronized progesterone and other progestogen options, including Provera. These are possible treatments after assessment, not a promise that a reader can select any item without evaluation.
Our progesterone and progestin notes explain why similar category names do not identify the same medicine. Ask what each proposed prescription is meant to do, how to use it and which effects should prompt a call.
If a gel is proposed, keep the gel and spray checklist with your questions. Application site, drying and contact precautions belong to the exact product. A skin preparation and a vaginal treatment do not become interchangeable because both contain estrogen.
Separate a clinical recommendation from the wider catalog
The website's broader menopause shop includes more than the consultation itself. Clarify which items are part of the clinician's plan, which are optional and which require a separate purchase. A larger shopping menu does not demonstrate that a larger treatment plan will be useful.
For any proposed custom formula, ask for the dispensing pharmacy and finished product's approval status. The approved-versus-compounded explainer covers the distinction. “Bioidentical” alone cannot tell you how a medicine was manufactured or reviewed.
Make the follow-up arrangement specific
Bring current medicines, relevant diagnoses, surgical history and bleeding changes to the assessment. If contraception remains relevant, raise it at the same time; perimenopause birth control and HRT address different purposes.
Ask when the first review should occur and who handles problems between reviews. If your concern requires an examination or testing, find out how that care is arranged locally. An online service can be part of a care plan without replacing every in-person assessment.
Use a like-for-like comparison
Sesame provides another recurring-care model with separate pharmacy costs, while Maven Clinic advertises a defined individual package. Compare the actual visit and messaging allowance, medicine bill and expected next step rather than ranking the lowest advertised number. Wisp's public information makes the separation between care and medicine clear; your written quote and clinical assessment must supply the remaining details.
